A common example is when a new Inquiry is added to MarketSharp, an Activity Process could be triggered based upon the Inquiry Status. The Activity Process could direct someone to call them to set an appointment, or send an email thanking them for their interest.
Assign an Activity Process to an Inquiry Status
Go to the Admin section in the drop-down in the upper right corner of MarketSharp
Click on Inquiry Rules in the Automation Rules box
Choose the Activity Process from the drop-down that is next to the Inquiry Status it should correspond with.
When all Activity Processes have been assigned to their respective Inquiry Statuses, click Save.
